what im getting at here is i think teleporter, or destructive mind uploading, is basically safe to use as long as the copy is actually identical to the original if there's an existential crisis here it's that this line of thinking goes to a weird place . . .

@Procariama1 i dont think that consciousness needs to be reattached or transferred i guess is my position. your experience is walking into the teleporter and then walking out apparently unharmed, the same way that you don't experience anything untoward when you're put under e.g. anesthesia
