I’m fine with that - it’s smart personal finance he has probably >50% of his net worth in the company (pulled that # from my ass)

@jawnzilla Implied vol is so high in these rare earth names you can buy 100 shares and get a 15-20% return on your cost basis selling a Nov/Dec call struck at double the current price
Been doing this in $UAMY and th more I read about rare earths the more $NB comes up

@boujee_banker Definitely something I do a lot. Lower my cost basis and works like a limit order (helpful given that I only get short trading windows through work)
I do worry a bit about selection bias since I end up scaled larger in ideas in a drawdown. But still a strong yield generator

This year’s big add for my portfolio 4% weight so far. Plan to keep adding but want to have some room to be aggressive if stock sells off when lockup expires in August

@Process_Cap @commongoodfilm The 8K (and highlighted in the latest 10Q) says the lump-sum payments and the transfer of the future benefit obligations were entirely funded from plan assets, with no additional funding from the company - so definitely a confusing reaction.

@commongoodfilm Just read the presser - really sounds like a reasonable use of cash and pulls forward the pension liability rather than having any long tail of payouts
Interesting that weighed on the stock so much. Between this and MicroBird I think smart reinvestments in the biz lately

other I’ve been adding to is $KSPI (Kazakh super app expanding into Turkey)
Overall just working in a bit to the portfolios international exposure
