Dr Chirombo congratulated the AMA DG, H.E. Dr Mimi Darko, on her assumption of office and pledged WHO’s assistance to AMA, including the immediate secondment of one Technical Officer to AMA. H.E. Dr Darko thanked WHO for the support and reaffirmed commitment to collaboration.

This virtual meeting precedes the first in-person Meeting of Heads of National Regulatory Agencies (NRAs), scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 29 to 30 January.
