In the last hour, #crypto market saw over $460 million in long positions liquidated following an 8% drop in #Bitcoin price, spurred by rumors of a possible SEC delay in spot #BitcoinETF approval. CoinGlass data reveals long traders on major centralized exchanges incurred about $462 million in losses. In 24 hours, 172,626 traders faced liquidations, with total long liquidations reaching $557 million, and shorts at approximately $58 million. OKX experienced the bulk of these liquidations, over $230 million, followed by Binance with $105 million, and Huobi at around $74 million. This surge in liquidations occurred as Bitcoin plunged to around $40,000, amid reports from Matrixport suggesting the SEC might reject spot Bitcoin ETF applications soon.
