When I started my BSc there was a meet the provost event at UofT. Dad thought provost meant security guard so he quizzed the Provost about campus security. I was embarrassed but years later, proud. Dad, who had no Uni degree, was v wise. He died April 6th and I miss him terribly.

Many thanks to the terrific editors at the @StanLRev for their insights & helpful feedback - and for organizing an amazing symposium on safeguarding the fundamental right to vote.
Stanford Law Review@StanLRev

@SIssacharoff Everyone agrees that all citizens should have the right to vote. But what really makes a free and fair election? In our second Symposium Essay, now live, @ProfDawood examines the baselines and defaults that undergird the right to vote. stanfordlawreview.org/online/the-rig…

People multitask in over 30% of virtual meetings. If you want their undivided attention, move meetings to the afternoon—and keep them small and short. Our best analytical and creative thinking often happens before lunch (or after dinner). Protect mornings to focus on deep work.
