Dear friends, Over the years, I have sent many condolence messages here, mourning dear friends. Today, I find myself mourning my beloved mother and role model, Perpetua Wambui Wango, who was called to be with the Lord last night. I am devastated and currently on my way home from a trip abroad. I thank God for the gift of her life and for the precious privilege of living with her during her final years. I will miss her deeply. At 94 years, the Lord blessed her with a long and fulfilling life, and even as we grieve, we give thanks. She fought a good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith — 2 Timothy 4:7. We are deeply grateful to the Doctors and Nurses at KUTRRH who cared for Mum tirelessly until her final day. Many became not only her Doctors but friends. My heartfelt thanks also go to my family and friends who were close to Mum encouraging her each day to the very end. Special thanks to my brother, Dr. Wango Kamau, my sisters, Prof. Mumbi Mwangi & Mrs. Florence Mbugua, and all the grandchildren. I also thank Mum's caregivers particularly the devoted Ann Gathoni who has been with mum 24/7. Thanks to Rodah my friend in the US who was with me when I received the sad news. Thank you for support. May God bless you all. Rest in peace our dear Mami till we meet again.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Family of Hon CharityKathambi Chepkwonyi for the passing of her Husband, and to the entire Njoro Constituency during these profoundly challenging moments. Please accept my condolences on behalf of the National Assembly members and our staff. Human loss and the intense suffering that ensues has left us all deeply shocked and dismayed. May God grant her solace and strength during this time of affliction. The Lord remains close to those with shattered hearts and rescues those whose spirits are crushed." - Psalm 34:18

Generalising that girls are engaging in sex for Fish or sex Pads is very disturbing. Data indicates that 15% of girls cannot access sanitary towels due to poverty and other reasons. This disadvantages girls access to education that is key to empowerment. Sen Gloria we soldier..

Faith based leaders have called for a consideration of a peaceful settlement of political conflicts. Organisers have no control how the demonstrations can result into unintended outcome. Today's interruption of Consumer Day event in Kisumu should not have happened. Lessons!!

Regarding the supreme court ruling on sharing of properties during devorce based on what each party contributed needs careful examination. Women should not be disadvantaged. Contributions made by women need to include costed unpaid care work, including psychological support.

@Lesuuda Both parties have taken very strong positions without taking time to understand clarity of roles for the Gvn and MCAs. While organizational management principles need to be respected, life is about give and take. Both parties have antagonised each other too early.

Governor Kawira Mwangaza was written off too soon. We see husbands & wives supporting their spouses to deliver in political spaces every other day. It’s really one’s choice. I believe it is something that she can work on without being impeached. Lady said pole 67 times jameni.
