I visited the Stawell Underground Physics Laboratory (SUPL @StawellLab) last week, on a field trip for members of the @ausphysics Vic branch. Located 1 km beneath the surface in Stawell Gold Mines, SUPL is the first underground lab in the southern hemisphere! @ARC_DMPP

DUNE can precisely measure the total flux of 8B solar neutrinos with NC neutrino-argon interactions. Combined with DUNE CC measurements, this would enable a direct SNO-like CC/NC comparison to precisely measure oscillation parameters and allow unprecedented tests of new physics.
