Today marks the official commencement of the 1st Advisory Council and 30th General Assemblies of the East African Communications Organisation (@EacoInfo). Under the theme "Shaping the Future of East African Region through Digital Transformation”, this significant event brings together regulators, policymakers and tech experts from the seven East African member countries to deliberate on the future of communication and harmonization in the East African region. The National Communication Authority (@NCA_SSD) is honored to host these historic events, a first for the Republic of South Sudan and today's agenda will primarily focus on the EACO Committees and Working Group Meetings. Today I held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed CEO of MTN South Sudan Ms. Mapula Bodibe (@MapsBodibe) who succeeds Eng. Ali Monzer.
We discussed a wide range of issues centred around the MTN network in the country and the need to improve both the quality of services and overall customer experience.
The @NCA_SSD welcomes Ms.Bodibe to South Sudan and wishes her success in her new assignment.
