To test therapeutic potential, we teamed up with my fellow @HALOdotscience 40 under 40 recipient, @ProfScottBME and his postdoc, Dr. Fanfan Du, to use their micelles to target Rox to myeloid cells and found that Rox treatment prolonged heart transplant survival! 12/17

@FaubelRegina @AllergicLiving This is an excellent point, but please note that there is no PEG in the nanoparticles used in this study. PEG is an issue mainly because it is found in so many products currently on the market. But here we use a novel polymer that doesn't have prior exposure.
