@FaubelRegina @AllergicLiving This is an excellent point, but please note that there is no PEG in the nanoparticles used in this study. PEG is an issue mainly because it is found in so many products currently on the market. But here we use a novel polymer that doesn't have prior exposure.

For futuristic approaches to #foodallergies, it's hard to rival the work of Prof. Evan Scott & team at @NorthwesternMedicine. They coated #nanoparticles in 2 antibodies, shutting down mast cells. This prevented anaphylaxis in mice. We look at the work + potential. @ProfScottBME
