Congratulations! One of the best books on how Indian history was manipulated by these so called historians er… distorians.
Utpal Kumar@Utpal_Kumar1

A year ago, in January 2025, my second book Eminent Distorians: Twists and Truths in Bharat’s History was released. With Mahadev’s blessings and your immense love, it has been a remarkable journey. The book has not only sold well but, more importantly, sparked a much-needed discourse on how Bharat’s history has long been distorted. What gives me even greater satisfaction is seeing the term “distorians” entering popular conversation for our so-called “eminent historians.” And now, one year later, I am delighted to share that the Hindi edition is here — Prakhyat Galpkar. The title, beautifully coined by its translator Arun Tiwari, captures the spirit of the original. Arun ji has poured his heart into ensuring that the essence, intensity, and intent of the English version resonate just as powerfully in Hindi. My heartfelt thanks to my publisher, @praveenBlu ji, and the entire team at @BluOneInk for their unwavering support. As the book is available on #Amazon (amazon.in/dp/9365477328) on preorder, I seek your blessings and encouragement once again. Support this book — not merely because it carries my name, but because it is a sincere effort to reclaim and restore the true history of Bharat. Looking forward to your continued love and support. 🙏 #newbookrelease #books #EminentDistorians #PrakhyatGalpkar #newbookalert

I don’t understand this tomb tourism in India! In Delhi they turned all tombs into tourist spots along with Taj Maha and everything in between. Same with Hyderabad; they try to promote those ghostly tombs in Hyderabad as great tourist spots. You go there and it feels so eery.

Exactly! They never became us. They were just Settler-Colonizers! Nothing more or nothing less. India went through 4 types of exploitative colonization. The Timurid colonization was extremely exploitative.
Aabhas Maldahiyar 🇮🇳@Aabhas24

“The Samarkand Syndrome: Why Babur and family never became ‘us’”! I write for @IndiaToday arguing why Timurids (wrongly called Mughals) never saw Bharat as home. This essay dismantles the myth that they had become Indianised post Babur. indiatoday.in/opinion/story/…

The collapse is clear but we should know how to proceed now! Folks realized how artificial their constructions were. Although they call it “Marxist” history, it’s just colonial history with some window-dressing here and there. We need to develop our own frameworks to understand our history. When ‘eminent historians’ were put in the dock: Romila Thapar and the collapse of Marxist monopoly firstpost.com/opinion/romila… - @Utpal_Kumar1 Between Romila Thapar’s warnings on the rise of ‘non-historians’ in her memoir and a recent viral clip disputing her interpretation of Patanjali lies the story of fading Marxist monopoly in Indian historiography. The real challenge before Indian historiography today is not the existence of competing narratives, but the treatment of one ideological school as the sole custodian of intellectual legitimacy while dismissing all dissent as ignorance l

The Komagata Maru incident is sad reminder of how discriminatorily Indians (there was only India at that time) were treated in North America and how our ancestors were oppressed under colonialist regime at home in India.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

The Komagata Maru tragedy is one of the darkest chapters in our history — a moment where Canada failed to uphold our values, with horrific consequences. Today, we honour the memory of all the passengers, their descendants, and their communities who suffered: pm.gc.ca/en/news/statem…

Yes, it was that bad. They had a battalion full of these captured slaves- thrown first to die in war. And the remaining are sold in the slave markets. The largest slave markets of the world were in Sultanate/Timurid (Moghul)- Multan, Lahore are the number 1 and 2 respectively- for largest slave markets.
vasanthipanchakshari@vasanthipanchak

@ProfVemsani Was it that bad, what they did, and the numbers taken away for slavery?!

See the charakha in the back. And Gandhi said he couldn’t find charkha in the 1920s households. You can imagine how much our ancestors were forced to change to become serfs and dependent labor. They killed our culture and skills so they can use us as servants. Colonialist regime is criminal!

Rural Bengali kitchen, 1832. It was a time when women's clothing had no Victorian influence yet. Notice the cooking items :-The shilnora, chulha, kulo, ghati, tukri etc. Few are now almost extinct from the Bengali kitchen. Artist: Sophie Charlotte Belnos
