@Rushcliffe Cool
Now fix the roads
Eg. Leake Lane all the way through to Stanford on Soar and Castle Hill Loughborough Road out of East Leake is almost un-drivable
In both directions people have to drive in middle of the road, a head-on collision inevitable

@totalsnookered It was an ITV production for C5. Ref cam was worth trying but dont bother. 35 seconds advert at start of match silly. Give the commentators permanent access to top camera so they can always see the angles. Remind some commentators that less is more.
🗨️ We've haven't had the chance to ask you on your thoughts.
🎥 Did you like the ref cam?
📺 Channel 5 will be broadcasting the Tour Championship from Manchester later this month.

@DavidLloydRADIO@Ofcom I thought it strange, that there are no specific questions about BBC local radio, in the Licence fee consultation underway. Of course, you can mention it in the comment boxes, unprompted.
As a supporter of local news, is it not puzzling that @ofcom is requiring commercial stations to provide local news at least hourly from journalists "physically present in the area" - whereas BBC local stations only have to have bulletins "at frequent intervals" with no requirements on location.
⛷️ BBC Sport’s coverage of the Winter Olympic Games 2026 has achieved its largest overall audience consumption ever, with a record-breaking surge in streaming of the Games driving audience figures to new heights

First ever snooker ranking event on Channel 5 and I enjoyed the coverage! Excellent throughout!
Katie Shanahan was excellent doing presenter duties! Took over the realms superbly!
Some usual faces but all were excellent as expected!
Good to see new additions with Matthew Stevens and John Higgins! Both were excellent in punditry and in comms!
One weakness is that having an ad break after the players coming out and before the match starts is a massive no no for me!
But I enjoyed it and long my Channel 5 continue with the snookering action!

@philhaigh_ There is a theory in tv circles that the lower the channel number, the more likely viewers will watch something they hsdnt planned to watch. Better dress code today I see.
Some viewing figures so far at the Players Championship on Channel 5.
2.3 million reach over first 2 days. It took 5 days to reach that number last season on ITV4.
Yesterday afternoon peak was 627k. Higher than any peak in last year's comp.
Peak last night at 596k
Sounds good
@addy_147 Bbc, itv and c5 commentary for uk only use. Eursosport and discovery have their own commentaries althouth some like eurosport germany add their own commentary on top
It’s a little weird that Ch. 5 has John Higgins with Dave Hendon on comms. What’s even weirder: Discovery+ doesn’t use that track and instead has Neal Foulds doing the same match, while not providing any commentary for table 2 which would also be available via Ch. 5 WHY? 🤷🏻♂️
