Two weeks ago, Alexandre Bringuet – a Master student @ChimieParisTech – joined our team for a five-month internship. He will study CO2 capture reactions for the construction of new azaheterocycles, supervised by our PhD student Fien Vanhecke. Welcome Alexandre! @SynBioC @FbwUGent

@Va_le_nti_ @SynBioC @FbwUGent @sciencedirect It seemed interesting to us to explore lanthanide materials which have the same applications as Ln phosponate coordination polymers but are more easily synthesized. Furthermore, the combination of nanomaterials with nucleotides is promising because of water compatibility.

While a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, glycosylated PROTACs are a nifty way to metabolically control PROTAC activity 🤩🟦🍬 Check out our newest work out now is @J_A_C_S 🫡 Congrats to Chace and all authors! 💐🎉🐱 pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

Re-inventing the wheel. Instead of a #ChemEd #Chemistry summary, here is my attempt at a pKa (in H2O) scale. Values are taken from the Evans/Ripin & Hans Reich resources. If you want a table, I recommend these. This was an attempt at a more visual representation of the same data.
