Madam, knowing you and functions, I can see several millions spent here for the memorial of a man who was buried just two weeks ago. I hear your argument is that Raila wasn't mourned in Homabay and Migori, so you want him mourned there. Sure! We all know that the mourning in Kasarani, Nyayo, Kisumu and Bondo made sense because the body of Raila was there to be viewed. At these venues, especially Kisumu, people travelled from all over Nyanza including Homabay to mourn and view Baba's body. The family members were there too to be consoled. Your Exellency, will you airlift the Odinga family to Homabay? Don't You think they need to move on? You definitely mourned Baba to your satisfaction and even stayed in Bondo for an extra week. Something you didn't do even when your 'mother' died. Madam Gladys, Homabay workers have not received their October Salaries, pending bills is killing our sons and daughters, literally. There are very many stalled projects in Homabay, including your only known major project Homabay Accident and Emergency Centre. Together with dozens of dispensaries and ECD classrooms. There is no medicine in Hospitals. Staff scarcity in the health sector is nolonger a secret. Water is lying in tanks around Kendubay and Oyugis, only connections are required, but you have no money for connection. Oyugis has no slaughter house that should serve the 5 great Rachuonyo subcounties. Nya Wang'aya, your obsession with your own entertainment in public functions complete with Ajawa is impeding service delivery in Homabay. From wherever you are getting the money for party after party, tell them to allow you to divert the money to serve those who elected you. Your close associates have forgotten that the money they are flossing around with belong to the people and they have started telling us, the people, how poor we are. They are telling us that we are complaining because we are poor. They tell us that courtesy of you they are moving around in motorcades. It is true we are poor because we are buying what your government ought to be providing us with. We are poor because you can't pay us pending bills. We are poor because banks charge us penalties on loans as you delay our salaries, as you do more important things like mielo ajawa. Nyar gi Kalausi, you can't be Raila's relative more than all of us including Dr Idah Odinga, Hon Winnie and Dr Oburu Odinga. You are overdoing things Madam. There would be nothing wrong, though, if you were using your own money. Or if people like oGiDno were not calling us poor. Or if MCAs who you favour would not be spending the equivalent of their monthly salaries every day of the week. It would be ok if you were not travelling with tens of people everywhere you go in Kenya at our expense. It would be ok, if you were not entertaining bloggers in Mombasa at our expense. It would be ok if the salaries of Homabay county staff had been paid up to date. Madam Gladys, you live large, in opulence as the people of Homabay continue sinking in poverty, while you are obsessed with who gets elected in Kasipul more than even the late party leader Raila Odinga (MHSRIP). Nevertheless, I salute you for your ability to pretend to the people you need, while you persecute the lowly without them noticing. I suspect Charity Ngilu, Martha Karua, Francis Atwoli, Chairman Macharia who did every thing to ensure you were elected noticed how they nolonger matter to you. Owaka and McOure deserved your time in Bondo more than these guys. You are lucky, you inherited the spirits of Herodias and Jezebel and can get away with anything.
