OK, I'm getting heat from some corners for not ripping Trump on the post of him healing Uncle Sam. So here are my thoughts: 1. Do I wish he had not posted it? Yes, I wish he had not posted it. Was it stupid to post it? Yes, it was stupid to post it. 2. It was somebody else's AI picture from months ago, FYI, and it was supposed to show Trump healing America, which I believe he is doing through hard work and strong policies. 3. It's not the first time he posted something stupid I wish he had not posted, and it won't be the last. 4. The choice is a strong, free America that supports the interests of average American citizens vs. the goals of a globalist cabal of neo-Marxists bent on enslaving us. I choose the former over the latter, and if that means I periodically need to overlook less important issues that I would otherwise strongly object to, so be it. I see the big picture. Many people do not. Explained.

@CynicalPublius People refuse to accept that what makes him uniquely qualified for the challenges of our day is what makes him cause us to roll our eyes at times. Ignore the small things, and stay focused on what he's doing. Who else in the Republican party is up to this moment?

@brianstelter You are a clown of the highest order. Journalists are admitting online that they heard these rumors years ago & did nothing! What would real investigative journalists be doing? They'd be hell bent on gaining access to the congressional settlement list. There are other Swalwells.

Dear Catholic Bishops: Any statement about Democrat politicians who are grossly abusing the religious liberties of nuns? You just reserve your outrage for politicians you don’t like?
Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley

New York is now going head-to-head with a group of Dominican nuns over a law challenged as unconstitutional. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and the state are being sued over a law that forces religious organizations to adhere to LGBTQ policies. jonathanturley.org/2026/04/13/new…

The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don’t contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the Pope’s prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life. In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree. I would warmly recommend that serious Catholics within the Trump administration–Secretary Rubio, Vice President Vance, Ambassador Brian Burch, and others–might meet with Vatican officials so that a real dialogue can take place. This is far preferable to the statements on social media. I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No President in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.

Clavicular walks out of 60 Minutes interview after being asked if he is an incel and about his relationship with Andrew Tate. Clavicular: “Do I identify as an Incel? I mean, how could you ask me that question as a follow up after you asked me about my relationships to women. I mean, that's quite literally the worst sequence of questions I think I've ever heard.” 60 Minutes: “Let me rephrase then. Looksmaxxing was obviously a term created by the Incel community. How do you feel about being linked to that group.” Clavicular: “I'm not linked to that group in any way. Looksmaxxing is self improvement, right? So it's about potentially even ascending out of that category. So that would be kind of one of the goals is to disassociate from being an incel and overcome that. So that doesn't make sense.” 60 Minutes: “You've been seen with certain people who are from all parts of that world. I mean, just as an example, you've obviously shared company with Andrew Tate and other, dare I say, rather controversial figures. Why do you spend time with people like that?” Clavicular: “I see you want to make this political… I guess you watched the Piers Interview. too bad I didn't have time to look into, you know, anything about potentially, you know who your wife cheated with.” 60 Minutes: “I’m not married Clav.” Clavicular: “So I could teach you about looksmaxxing, and then maybe you could switch that up. Thanks for the time, appreciate the interview.” (youtu.be/CXKCoFz3WRs?si…)

One does not need to be a rocket scientist to realize that the reason Obama henchman David Axelrod met with Pope Leo last week was to coordinate a media propaganda blitz and quasi-color revolution designed to separate faithful American Roman Catholics from support for the MAGA agenda.

@wil_da_beast630 This highlights the problem of "data" that drives policy and public perception. The 1 in 4 rape stat that people repeat often is based upon a survey given to female college students by two professors. It includes questions such as a kiss attempt after a date without asking first.

I am suspending my campaign for Governor. To my family, staff, friends, and supporters, I am deeply sorry for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past. I will fight the serious, false allegations that have been made — but that’s my fight, not a campaign’s.

The biggest thing to take away from the Swalwell story, is not that he is a creep and (alleged) sexual predator. It’s that the Democrat Party, and their lapdog media, knew this the entire time, and only revealed it when it became beneficial for them. They don’t actually care.

It's not so much that Millennial and Gen X women consciously choose careers over marriage. It's that the choices they make (and are encouraged to make) make marriage less likely. Case in point: moving to D.C., where the men are sociopaths or homosexuals or both.
Beverly Hallberg@BeverlyHallberg

I’m 46 and have worked in DC for 26 years. During that time, I’ve met and befriended many women in high-level careers. Not one has ever told me she chose her career over marriage. In fact, all of them were trying to find a husband. The idea that Millennial or Gen X women broadly chose careers over marriage—at least anecdotally—just isn’t true.

They want to pass all these gun laws but they don’t want to hold the CRIMINALS responsible for their actions. WHY? When the government doesn’t want to protect you guess what you’ve got to protect yourself. Pretty easy for most to understand but not the crazies🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
schotts - U.S. Citizen and Patriot@schotts

Exactly. Colorado democrats have passed over 30 new gun laws since 2013. In 2012 our murder and violet crime rates were well below the national average. By 2020, they were well above the national average and kept rising. In 2025, @usnews rated Colorado the second most dangerous state. If those 30 gun laws worked, we’d be the safest state in the country.
