DENUNCIA URGENTE POR AISLAMIENTO DELIBERADO Y GRAVES VIOLACIONES DE DERECHOS HUMANOS EN ANNOBÓN La isla de Annobón permanece incomunicada desde hace tres días, tras producirse secuestros y detenciones arbitrarias contra ciudadanos annoboneses. Según información verificada, al menos 10 personas han sido privadas de libertad, posteriormente liberadas tras haber sufrido torturas, tratos crueles, inhumanos y degradantes. Los detenidos han denunciado haber sido sometidos a condiciones de reclusión extremadamente graves, incluyendo la obligación de pasar las noches desnudos sobre suelo de cemento, sin ropa de cama ni condiciones mínimas de dignidad humana. En los días previos al actual aislamiento total de la isla, la población informó de la presencia de aviones militares sobrevolando Annobón sin efectuar aterrizaje, en lo que se interpreta como una acción de intimidación destinada a generar miedo y terror entre la población civil. La situación descrita constituye un patrón preocupante de represión y vulneración sistemática de derechos fundamentales, generando un estado de extrema alarma entre los habitantes de la isla. El aislamiento informativo actual incrementa el riesgo de que se estén produciendo nuevas violaciones de derechos humanos sin posibilidad de verificación externa. Guinea Ecuatorial se ha convertido en una auténtica pesadilla para la población de Annobón. Como representante político de la isla y su pueblo, solicito atención internacional urgente sobre la situación que atraviesa Annobón, así como la adopción de medidas inmediatas que garanticen la protección de la población civil, el restablecimiento de las comunicaciones y el respeto a los derechos humanos fundamentales. Existe un fundado temor por la integridad física y psicológica de los habitantes de la isla, dada la falta de información y la gravedad de los hechos denunciados. @state_secession It may not sound like it from the way I talk much of the time, but I don't consider myself libertarian either. My beliefs are more centered around Subsidiarity which says the default should always be to the more local authority. Practicality demands adaptation to the situation

I know libertarians want state governments to be weak because they want all governments to be weak, but I want states to be populous enough to have real sovereignty, so I won't argue for multiplying the number of states much. The thread is an attempt to strengthen states. For example, West Virginia law doesn't matter much when many of their cities are a bridge away from Ohio or commuting distance from PA or DC. As you might have guessed by now, I'm more of a theocrat than a libertarian today, although I embrace Austrian economics and still have some libertarian policies, insights & ideas from my earlier years as a libertarian
