@1RandomThings_1 @ahegao_horror It's a r7 260x 1gb. It only has one slot and the power connector is seated flush. Everything checks but nothing boots.

@ProficFicus @ahegao_horror is it compatible with the new mobo? is it in the right slot? (some have more than one slot, and only one works when setup with a single gpu)

@ahegao_horror Old setup works with the same psu. I should be 200w below the max... Mobo turns on, ram lights turn on, CPU fan spins. But (no integrated video) the gpu refuses to turn on. I switched to my old setup to test it, and it works... Me is confused

I have a bad habit when I post. I want to speak clearly and reasonably intelligently so as to minimize the chance that my point is misconstrued. And, of course, I'd prefer to speak to the various aspects or angles of a particular subject. There's always some time for something a little pithy or whatever, but I like to avoid using too much slang. I suppose sometimes my point gets lost in the mess of word vomit, and of course it takes quite some time to type these things out, edit them, and all that. So I suppose what I'm getting at here is that I should work on brevity. 🙂 Also, hi Jarl.
