"Nationalism isn't compatible with libertarianism" is something I've been seeing a lot of libertarians on X repeating again. I recommend Rothbards Nations by Consent cdn.mises.org/11_1_1_0.pdf Nationalism is not only compatible with libertarianism, but is important to understand.

@PraxLemon @NekoKirito7 I then explained voluntaryist minarchism*, it took a bit of convincing (we spent like 5 hrs lmao) but he eventually understood and agreed. *i need to write a brief abt this, and how its a good gateway to ancap. as of right now ive convinced my dad of voluntaryist minarchism.

@PraxLemon @NekoKirito7 I've met a lot of people who think this way, many of them-like shoe-tend to consider themselves center or left-wing while disliking the democrat party. I had a good chat with one guy i knew and after explaining randian minarchism he agreed wholeheartedly with it.

The funny thing is that Marx was almost right about one thing: capitalism does eventually lead to a stateless and classless society (aka pure capitalism), but not *moneyless*. In a free market savings increase and transaction costs decrease, leading to continual decentralization.

Marx would’ve been a Hoppean Ancap. Marx believed in class war but got the mechanism wrong, he blamed bourgeois capital instead of the proper parasite class: the anti-productive sector extracting wealth via coercion, inflation & taxation.
