House Republicans pulled the Iran war powers vote because they knew they'd lose it. The 60-day clock has expired. The law is clear. Congress holds the power to declare war, and no president gets to run an open-ended military campaign just because his own party is too afraid to hold a vote.

@ProjectLiberal This law is a grave violation of civil liberties, and will be fought.

Idaho passed a law letting any parent sue a library if their kid sees something 'harmful.' A town of 251 people couldn't afford the legal risk, so they banned every minor from the building. The legislature didn't have to ban books -- they just made it impossible for small libraries to keep their doors open to kids.

The entire trajectory of American history is expanding rights to more people. MAGA wants to reverse that because they got their feelings hurt. Being offended by progress is not a reason to abandon the founding principle that every person deserves equal treatment from their government.

Free speech is for everyone, including the people and content that you hate.

Post-liberalism is just pre-liberalism. Liberalism is only path forward for humanity, everything else is going backwards.
