I’m a boomer. If it wasn’t for me and a handful of my boomer friends, one of the parishes I’m associated with would have slowly died a brutal death long ago. I teach CCD, facilitate Bible Studies, run a men’s group, and run our adult faith program while parishioners half my age barely make it to Sunday Mass. You’re welcome.

Boomer Catholicism is slowly dying a brutal death. Being able to see this happen in my lifetime was never in my 2026 bingo book. My goodness

@ProjectMysticDV My husband's church (prot) preached the other day that it's better to not go to church than to give insincere/unfocused/halfhearted worship and I nearly lost it.

People who are good: 1. God - Literally Jesus 2. Angels 3. Saints People who are bad are but are striving to be good. 1. Me and hopefully you. Should you go to Church? YES. If you don't, you will remain bad because humans are incapable of self redemption without God. Duh
