La familia Jiménez Montes, conocidos como “Los Cochis” y originarios de Mocorito, Sinaloa, son asociados desde hace tiempo de Ceferino Espinoza Angulo, alias “El Koyote” o “El 14”, exintegrante de Los Chapitos actualmente alineado con la facción de El Chapo Isidro, así como de Jorge Alberto Cázares Elenes, alias “Koki Cázares”, operador de Los Chapitos abatido en marzo de 2025. Además de ser asociados de “El Koyote”, “Los Cochis” también mantienen vínculos familiares con su familia, ya que Gladis Imelda Jiménez Montes está casada con José Antonio Espinoza, alias “Toñito” o “El 5”, primo hermano y operador cercano de “El Koyote”. Integrantes de “Los Cochis” habrían sido utilizados para realizar distintos asesinatos, operaciones y tareas para “Koki Cázares” y para el grupo de “El Koyote”, funcionando como una célula cercana y de confianza para ambos operadores.
