Only 3 of the 16 teams in the AFC (BAL, KC, & CLE) have clinched the playoffs and are locked in at their seed and therefore have nothing to play for and will be resting their starters. MIA clinched a playoff spot, but they’re playing for #2 seed vs a wildcard. JAX, HOU, IND all have a chance to be AFCS champs, a wildcard, or even miss the playoffs depending on the outcome of their game and others. PIT still has a good shot at a Wildcard. And all the eliminated teams will play their starters for pride and to end the season on a high note. And that’s just the AFC.
