Two straight weeks of heavy rain overwhelmed my all sky cam enclosure! The PI is dead. I am not, however, so should be easy enough to swap out and re-seal! 😅

A plea to restaurant/bar owners: Treat the Artemis II launch like a sporting event. Put it on all your tvs. Let patrons celebrate the brave crew as they return to the moon for the first time in 54 years. This is a shared human success and should be experienced as such.

Looking forward to doing some more astrophotography once these clouds move out.

Giant sunspot 4079 seen here in this inverted scan of the sun about 30 mins ago. A huge "filaprom" has also been showing off top left, snaking around the limb. The giant sunspot has been relatively quiet. (SGH700 / SW82ED / SWEQRhPro / QHY678M ) - Taken May 7th, Byron Bay Obs
