@noahjefron @joshualeifer @DissentMag Although I worry. Anyway, I don't need to waste any more of your time. I apologize if I seemed condescending. It reflects my limited talents as a writer, but not what I think about the INN people, who I think are the best of us - committed, morally alive, open-hearted, inspiring

@joshualeifer @DissentMag Yes. Yes. The question is, for me, Is the connection between those two things -- the successes of the whole project of a Jewish state and the miseries that it causes -- now unbreakable. I don't think it is.

Don't get me started about that Efron guy. More like sophomorical humor, with egoism and emotional childishness. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion. That's why there's chocolate and vanilla!

Just finished listening to another magnificent episode of The Promised Podcast @noahjefron Noah, you have such a unique brand of wholesomeness mixed with a satirical humor and replete with empathy and emotional kindness I idolize you and I aspire to be more like you ❤

@Normie_Democrat @noahjefron It wasn't personal. In fact, one of Huldai's aides at the time said he admired Efron. It's just that Huldai hates opposition (& he's a bit of a bully, also to friends). He does all he can to make them miserable. Today, the city council coalition has 31 members, the opposition 0.

@Normie_Democrat @noahjefron Here's a vid of Efron's final City Council speech, with Huldai hovering. With or without Hebrew, you'll probably get the body language. After this, the mayor turned to Efron's kids, age 14 & 10, & said, "Your father's not a bad man, just stupid and naive." vimeo.com/25465020

The American Jewish community is overwhelmingly pro-Israel and anti-Occupation, just like every Democratic 2020 hopeful. It's something neither the far left nor the right wants you to believe is possible. It is. Jewish & Palestinian self-determination are not a zero sum game.

Just to check. The slogan just announced for Benny Gans' Knesset campaign, "Yisrael lifnei ha-Kol," if you translate that to English, you get something like "Israel First," and if you translated it to German, you get something like "Israel über alles," yes?

Examples of overpraising @noahjefron:(1) His personal hygiene is above reproach, (2) He does not sound like a pubescent Ira Glass, (3) He is capable of uttering a sentence without swearing, (4) His IQ very likely reaches into 3 digits, (5) He is handsomer than certain gargoyles.

ואם אנחנו בשוונג של יציאה מהארון אז למועצה אצביע "עם" כי אני אוהבת ומאמינה באור סיונוב וכי יש שם אנשים מצויינים ואכפתיים שלא דופקים חשבון לאף אחד

@PromisedPodcast @michaelchabon @bungarsargon @Gilad_Halpern @VladDavidzon @marksjo1 @jonathan_spyer @sfrantzman @noahjefron @abesilbe (3) Also, isn't Judaism all about separation, to begin with? From kashrut to circumcision to monotheism itself, etc., etc.? I hear that in French postmodern "theory" the Jew even came to stand for the whole notion of "ontological difference" or some such something or other. No?
