Better documentation = better understanding of protocol = less chance of exploits. writing docs can be a bit clunky, but with a tool like @hackmdio you really have no excuse. It's like google docs and markdown files had a baby with superpowers. this post is not sponsored

The strategy of using L2s to scale Ethereum comes with the well known problem of liquidity fragmentation. Maybe, just maybe, if we had one blockchain that could scale, be fast and do it all with little to no trade offs, then we could all just migrate all liquidity to it. The team at @nil_foundation believe this is achievable. Today we chat with @avizurlo CPO at nil to discuss everything L2 and how they are planning to build the end game L2. ** Sponsored by @xyz_remedy and @Sablier ** 00:00 – 06:05 The Move From Delphi To Nil Foundation 06:05 - 10:35 Nil Foundations Vision For Products 10:35 – 12:59 Finding The Right Talent 12:59 – 15:20 Where is Nil Going 15:20 – 18:16 Sourcing of Proof Generations 18:16 – 23:10 L2’s 23:10 – 30:39 Scaling A Blockchain 30:39 - 41:34 Why No Implement on L1 41:34 – 46:13 Roll up Fragmentation 46:13 – 50:32 The End Game 50:32 – 58:30 The Biggest Draw Back 58:30 – 01:06:15 Security Trade Offs 01:06:15 – 01:10:00 Who Is “Second Best” 01:10:00 – 01:10:52 When Live

@ProofOf_Podcast That’s not to say it’s easy to find the “easy” bugs. It takes some luck. But luck is just a matter of trying more times. If you work hard enough long enough your chances of getting lucky approach 100%. That works for pretty much anything.

Most high paying bugs are relatively simple. Sometimes it’s not even hidden. The highest paid bounty I ever got was for a bug almost identical to one the same project had disclosed several months before — and also similar to one that had been exploited recently

@lonelysloth_sec Who is “they”? That sounds like wouldn’t apply for most big projects that invest a lot into security nowadays

Im not telling you to stop studying the hard stuff. Just never tell yourself “oh they would never make such a basic mistake” Yes they would. They did already. And they will do the exactly same thing again.
