@LiamTwose I hate when devs refer to gamers as if they're not a part of that group. Are we not gamers? Do we not play!?! Anywho, I wonder if the realization that, on social medias, we end up only marketing our games to other devs (who aren't even paying attention), has created this divide.

@WeVennStudios The Cult of Small Games teaches to chase trends, study what sells on Steam, work in popular genres. While I have my own gripes about this, it was also only a matter of time before they figured out how to watch for viral marketing and make that thing too.
