Well, it all started in 2015 when I came across @ScottAdamsSays article titled “Why Trump Will Win.”
From that point on, Scott Adams became the single biggest influence in my adult life. I watched his Periscopes religiously during Trump’s campaign in 2015-2016. I started drinking coffee every morning in 2o16 bc of Scott. I watched live was when Scott created the “Simultaneous Sip.”
I learned about hypnosis, the reality filter, Trump’s linguistic kill shots, Robert Cialdini and the “dog that isn’t barking.” Scott introduced me to Mike Cernovich and James Altucher, who further influenced my life.
I read “How to Fail at Everything” and learned about systems, skill stacking and, most of all, that I had to get out of the 9-5 rat race if I ever wanted true freedom.
I read “God’s Debris” in 2016 and still think about the ending to this day.
So, yesterday Scott gutted out another episode, breathing labored, shaky voice and pouring every ounce of strength into the broadcast for 30 minutes. He did it because he loves us and he loves America.
Not gonna lie, my eyes were misty watching my hero for pouring out his trademark wisdom, insight and humor for the last time.
My world isn’t going to be the same without Scott Adams.
