One of my office team - who works part-time - received an aggressive email before 9am from a bid/proposal person chasing for a reply to an email they'd sent her moments before 5pm on Friday. They obviously missed the bit on the #APMP course when I talked about wellbeing.

Just hired a 21yo for their first job. What basic professional advice do they need? Here's what I tell all my new staff, but perhaps you can add. I'll start small. 1/ Use an online calendar. Have a foolproof system of reminders, so you never forget a deadline or obligation.

I suggested an 'anti-ghosting contract' on LinkedIn earlier, that you can ask people to sign when they ask you for a pitch or proposal to formalise their promise that they’ll actually get back to you afterwards. @alistair_vince shared his approach with clients & I really like it
