the next big thing in the crypto space is, in my humble opinion, onchain prop firms. This is a 50B$ industry suffering because of a lack of transparency, changing rules & scammish brokers. @ProprXYZ is : build on top of HL (house of all finance and the most liquid perp dex at the time) no shady rules instant payout onchain (avg. 2mins) already crossed 900K$ in revenue best business model I’ve ever saw onchain or off-chain tbh. looking forward to see that little niche in crypto becoming the next 10B$ runner!

If crypto is so dead, then why are consumer apps raking in so many fees? Some of these apps are generating more fees than protocols with years of runway. - @Pumpfun (meme launchpad): $14.8M - @Polymarket (prediction market): $10.3M, up 73% week over week - @Collector_Crypt (physical card game): $4.9M - Fragment (Telegram NFT marketplace): $4.2M - @trylimitless (prediction market): $577K - @Rain__Protocol: $201K, up massively WoW Games, Betting markets, Card games, Memes. These are signs of the industry maturing. The shift from generic DAUs to fees is the best way to demonstrate that real users are paying for a real product.

We are no longer offering our technology as a fully white-labeled solution to prop firms and have completely deprioritized this from our roadmap. A few reasons why: After speaking with both the largest and the smallest firms in the industry, I’ve come to believe that much of the space is deeply unserious when it comes to risk management. As industry growth slows, many firms with poor risk controls will inevitably fail. The potential reputational risk to Propr from being associated with those operators is simply too high. Even when robust risk management frameworks are offered, many operators remain focused solely on acquiring more users, often at the expense of long-term sustainability. I am increasingly bearish on prop firms as standalone front-end products. Looking five years ahead, I don’t believe the current form of these businesses will continue to exist. The only firms we would consider partnering with are those generating more than $5M in monthly payouts while demonstrating strong risk management practices. Unfortunately, the industry operates largely as a black box. There is very little transparency around how firms actually manage risk, and meaningful collaboration on risk controls is rare. From an economic perspective, firms that hedge poorly are effectively operating with a ticking time bomb. Failure becomes a matter of when, not if. The economics have also become significantly less attractive. Margins across the industry have compressed to the point where we are no longer able to price our technology in a way that justifies the opportunity cost. Building and supporting infrastructure for third parties simply doesn’t make sense relative to the opportunities available to us elsewhere. Propr is far from perfect, and our own risk management systems still require significant improvements. However, despite moving quickly, we approach every decision through a risk-first lens. At its core, the prop trading business is a business of selling risk, and understanding that reality is fundamental. We’ve found a direction that works, and I’m incredibly excited about what we have planned. By not pursuing a white-label strategy, we’re able to move significantly faster and focus our resources on building across product surfaces that we believe create substantially more value. It will make more sense with our upcoming announcements
