Today on the 18th of March, a hearing of the case involving #Rwanda v. UK at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague has commenced. It is Rwanda’s position that the case is not about monetary compensation or any other form of financial gain. 1/14

Under the Rwanda Digital Acceleration Project, @RISARwanda in collaboration with NCSA, today concluded the first cohort of a cybersecurity training program for 100 judicial operators held at CyberHub Rwanda and HangaHub Muhanga. Participants including judges, prosecutors, investigators, and lawyers strengthened their capacity in handling cybercrime investigations, digital evidence management, and digital forensics, among other key topics essential for addressing cyber-related cases.

The training was organized by the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (#IRMCT) and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (#KonradAdenauerStiftung).

March 05, 2026: 24 prosecutors from five countries-Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Sudan-concluded a four-day training on prosecuting international crimes, held in Kigali from 02–05 March 2026.

Today, Deputy Prosecutor General Bonaventure RUBERWA received a delegation from the Parliament and the Office of the Auditor General of the Republic of Uganda. The visit aimed to benchmark the NPPA’s strategies in fighting economic and financial crimes.

She encouraged participants to actively engage in the sessions and make the most of the expertise shared.

In her opening remarks, the Prosecutor General emphasized the importance of strengthening prosecutors’ skills in cybercrimes and digital forensics, noting that these capabilities are essential to ensuring justice in the digital age and effectively addressing emerging cybercrimes.

Today, Prosecutor General @angeliquehab officially opened a five-day training workshop on cybercrimes and digital forensics for prosecutors. The workshop is organized by NPPA in partnership with @EUinRW to strengthen prosecutors' capacity to effectively handle cybercrime cases.
