Yes would have been still at a disadvantage but you can see the last person came up the stairs to the left meaning no escape that way, and there were people down the hall so both exits were blocked, only option was to bubble and force the fight to close quarters at that point If left early enough as the grenades started in choke then maybe leaving on stairs to left could have worked but the bubble would have been used on the door/stairs area anyway

@Geezaws2 @kjellaim So u can see how proactive i am with bubbles If i think a teammate is vulnerable or pushed too/almost downed ill bubble them to help and use it as a way to peek Ignore the range whiffs on last guy at the end lmao But u can see like playing the bubble edge against the recon etc

Yuhh just being proactive with bubble will help a tonne, that and then positioning helps Sucks ass if youre literally stuck in a hole like in this clip but if u have your own bubble down at least you have a closer cover that they have to push into rather than the bubble they placed to shotgun peek you Honestly just building that muscle memory can save you a lot, i belive in u homie o7

@Protostar I need to do that, i was talking to @kjellaim last night who had some critiques for me and a lot of it boils down to my reaction time/awareness. it’s been years since i’ve been this into a tac shooter so i’ve still got a lot of rust + stuff to learn + twitch reactions

Legit ive just gotten in the habit of any time i hear any nades thrown i throw a bubble immediately at my feet, it keeps you alive a lottt Bubbles are the hard counter my friend Less health now but it gives u so much more agency, helped me out bigtime just building this muscle memory/not being scared to use my bubbles or "save them for a bigger moment" Usually lets you win the fight and take bubbles off the enemy bodies after to replace anyway

@Protostar Nah you're right, I was just being nitpicky, it is still an extremely quick push and shouldnt exist. We already talked about this push last week and that it was one of the pushes they missed, and they still didnt fix it.

Ok so marathon twt why are you able to rush a spawn still within the first TWO MINUTES of the game on cryo? I know about the glass break shutters, but how is bungie letting people open spawn doors at level 1 clearance?? We got rushed by this ttv squad and while we could have played better, just doesnt make sense to not have these doors into spawns locked to lvl two clearance? @dejaded_ yeah but why not make leaving cost level 1 and entering cost level 2??

@Protostar Because sometimes u can’t get level two clearance unless you leave your spawn. Therefore u must be able to access the spawn to control door at level one. Meaning if u wanna just go straight to PvP run through your spawn to another in order to skip the wandering around and fight
