The Strait of Hormuz is only open via a route determined by IRGC and in coordination with IRGC under conditions set by IRGC — so, despite what Trump says, it is not actually open, and tanker owners will behave accordingly.

Latest twist out of Russia: Z-comrades have now disavowed Russian pilot Alexei Zemtsov, the man behind the Telegram channel Voevoda Veshchet, after he publicly promised suicide, then disappeared. His ex-wife has come forward, describing him as a liar, alcoholic, and gambling addict who allegedly siphoned money raised for the front into a lifestyle of personal luxury. To make matters worse, reports now suggest his current wife was involved with the administrator of his own Telegram channel. The result? Total collapse of the persona he built. Across pro-war circles, Zemtsov is no longer treated as a patriot, but as a fraud, his talk of “officer’s honour” now the subject of open ridicule.
