The FSU is disappointed that the King's Speech included a draft bill to ban conversion therapy. Trying to force gay people to become straight is already illegal in this country, so what does the Government want to ban? We fear Labour wants to make it a criminal offence for parents and health professionals to try to persuade gender-confused children not to embark on irreversible, life-changing medical treatment that can leave them permanently sterile and cause other lasting harms. If that is the Government's intention, we will vigorously campaign against the bill.

“Oil only comes when something is crushed,” Would be great theology if the anointing came from you. But since it comes from The Holy Spirit… You can just receive it by faith, and be uncrushed.

There was yet another assassination attempt on Donald Trump recently, and it might not be the last. There was also the assassination of Charlie Kirk last September. Political violence appears to be rising. Will we see the same violent chaos in New Zealand? The vicious unhinged riots at the Posie Parker event in 2023 showed that New Zealand is not devoid from such ugly ferocious behaviour. What is fuelling this unhinged hatred? Simon O'Connor discusses this with @PsPeterMortlock , @TanyaUnkovich , Peter Williams and Suzy Miller. The latest @NZGreens candidate looks to be one of their worst yet (if it’s possible for them to get any worse). He’s compiled quite a list of hateful actions and comments - posting jokes on social media about Charlie Kirk’s assassination; called the cops “pigs” and the “c word”; called David Seymour “a piece of “sh1t”; mocked a women held hostage and tortured by Hamas; chanted “From the River to the Sea” , and so on. #familyfirstnz

🇩🇰 Copenhagen's Green-led council is limiting elderly care residents to 80 grams of beef per week for climate reasons. That works out to 11.4 grams a day, which is less meat than most people put in a single taco. A Green party rep explained the logic: the elderly "have been the biggest climate sinners throughout their lives." So the plan is apparently to make them atone for it in their final years, one thimble of mince at a time. Critics, including opposition parties and elderly advocates, say the policy risks undernutrition in a population already vulnerable to it. The council says it's flexible, but the elderly eating climate penance for dinner might disagree. Source: BT, Ekstra Bladet
