Bishop of the Diocese of Oyo
Federal government of Tinubu did not give clearance for Oyo state to fly their Hajj pilgrims for the 2026 pilgrimage exercise. But Ogun state who just build their airport was issued clearance. O ti da, Yoruba presidency indeed.
Bishop of the Diocese of Oyo@hon_ags

Breaking: Oyo state 2026 Hajj Pilgrims no longer airlifting from Ibadan Airport The Oyo State Government has announced an update regarding the departure arrangements for intending Hajj pilgrims for the 2026 pilgrimage exercise. According to an official communication issued by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, PhD, the approval process with the Federal Government for the airlift of pilgrims from Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport is yet to be concluded. As a result, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has designated Murtala Muhammed International Airport as the approved departure point for all pilgrims from Oyo State. Pilgrims who had initially registered to depart from Ibadan will now be airlifted from Lagos in line with the schedule already outlined by the Commission. The State Government has assured that necessary arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth transition and seamless travel experience for all affected pilgrims. The Government expressed its sincere appreciation to all stakeholders and intending pilgrims for their cooperation, understanding, and continued demonstration of patriotism throughout the process. Reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of its citizens, the Oyo State Government urged all pilgrims to remain calm and comply with the updated arrangements as preparations for the sacred journey continue.

You guys should stop all these! Funmi, I respect you but politics is not common sense. It goes beyond what you just see and think. Anyone who wants to run for presidency and governorship and doesn't have billions is wasting his/her time and people's time. It's not about bribery or corruption. The process is expensive. We have over 176,000 polling units in Nigeria. Let's even assume that you want to pay each unit agent N1000, how much is that? That is over N176,000,000 for just one day and it's not even possible to pay N1000, inshort that N1000 can't buy refreshments. Look, you guys should stop posting about things you don't know about politics. It is an expensive venture and anyone who doesn't have the muscle to finance it, should not waste people's time.
OurFaveOnlineDoc 🇬🇧 🇳🇬@OurFavOnlineDoc

Wait o. Or is my eyes paining me ni? You are selling presidential nomination form for 100million naira and governorship nomination form at 50million naira???? In a country that is one of the poverty shitholes in the world, you are selling election office forms at such an exploitative exorbitant price? And this is a country where many people rarely get voluntary altruistic donations and they have to run elections with their personal money. So you are effectively using money to tactically disqualify competent people who may not be rich enough to have 50m/100m naira to throw away on an election. How can we be talking about a New Nigeria and you are doing things exactly like the wild animals in government? How exactly is ADC different from APC?

FACT👇🏻 Obi and Kwakwanso were supposed to be unveiled on Tuesday into NDC.But Tinubu will likely sign the law tomorrow according to a source that will prevent part switch. That law will lock everyone in ADC in the middle of 13 court cases. So they made the right decisions on time.

Foundational Nupe Lawyer
Observation: Letter issued and received on 5th December 2025 but bearing NBA seal issued to expire in March 2027. As a lawyer and member of NBA, NBA seal are issued yearly to expire the following year. The NBA seal issued to expire in March 2027 can only be produced and issued in January 2026 and could not have been attached to a letter dated December 2025. This raises a serious issue of forgery and backdated letter. It can equally put the concerned lawyer in a serious professional misconduct trouble before the Legal Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee. I hope @NigBarAssoc and @afamosigwe can take note and look into this.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

There are 176,974 polling units in Nigeria. Assuming we have 60 Obidients in every polling units. 60 x 176,974 = 10,618,440 votes Where there is Obidient deficit, States with More Obidient will cover up. We can do this!!!
