Dickson isn't that guy whose credibility you want to call into question.
I'm not one to stick my neck out for people, but I've watched day after day, month after month, year after year, as ordinary Nigerians have entrusted their money in his care for one goodwill donation or the other, and he has ALWAYS ALWAYS been nothing short of accountable.
What's going on currently isn't a call for accountability; it's a witch hunt.
Yes, there should be demands for explanation, considering people were under the impression that the initial donation was for both legs; but I also believe that there are people in this world who deserve benefit of doubt rather than the "crucify him" chant that we've collectively become notorious for.
And Dickson has more than earned that.

@kenkenlewu You don't just paint a gas cylinder, it has a lifespan.
Before it can be repainted, it has to be tested to be sure it is still strong enough.
If not, no matter how clean you paint it to look, it is a time bomb waiting to explode some day.

I was in my shop yesterday when this young guy walked in and started introducing himself as a gas cylinder repainter
Immediately, some women there started doubting him… you know how some mothers can be they ignored him and continued their gist like he wasn’t even there.
Then one woman quietly went inside and brought out her cylinder.
Before we knew it, more women started bringing their cylinders one after the other.
From one, he ended up having about thirteen more cylinders 😳with just ₦3k each.
Just like that, market don open
Sometimes, it’s not that opportunities are not there.
It’s just that many people are waiting for perfect conditions, validation, or big beginnings.
Meanwhile, someone else is using what they already know… starting small… and cashing out daily.

Attached to this thread is the estimated bill by the Hospital.

@the_beardedsina The first mistake you guys made was contributing money directly to the account of the patient.
If you were paying directly for surgery, this confusion will not arise.
It looked more like contributions was for the 2 legs but procedure to be carried out in stages.

The problem is that many people don't read to understand.
When I posted updates last year I clearly mentioned it that surgery was only on one leg to reduce the risk of complications

I just saw a snake in my house. I was about to sleep when I heard a noise from the kitchen. I quickly went to check what it was, only to find a big black snake rushing into hiding as I approached.
I feel so terrified. This has been my worry since I moved into this new apartment and now my instincts have been proven right. My greatest fear has been confirmed.

This is @edu_betta, accused of mismanaging hundreds of billions of naira as minister. She was relieved of her position, and the @officialEFCC has been investigating her since 2023 and has not told Nigerians anything because Nigerians don't deserve to know anything. Within the short period of being a minister, one of the things she did was own a big and beautiful petrol station in the rich Guzape neighbourhood in Abuja. The reasons they can't prosecute her is because the moneys in question were shared with very powerful people within the government.
