If executed correctly absolutely. I think the gameplay and build variety of Wonderlands was a natural evolution of the borderlands formula but lack of post launch support killed any hopes of it living up to its full potential. Borderlands 1 was originally inspired by Diablo and was the “Diablo with guns” formula. What’s lost in that is the true variety of playstyles from Wands to maces that an arpg style can bring. Warframe and Destiny incorporated bows, melee weapons etc into their gameplay loops to add more variety. I’d love to see Borderlands push that envelope and go all out with crazy abilities, spells, swords etc in an all new world, with full support from Gearbox.

Overall view: - Destiny 2 probably should have ended with Final Shape with Destiny 3 already incubating - If Destiny 2 was going to keep existing, it shouldn't have been what we got, which was badly handled - Marathon siphoned a ton of resources and there is no disputing that

We need to build momentum and maintain it. Lets fucking do this thing.

Destiny 2 coming to an end feels surreal. Its what actually made me start making content. And despite not posting any youtube videos in the last year(ish) I’m extremely grateful for what I learned and was able to do with Destiny 2. Really hopeful for the future.
