@granviledufleur @HollyEngland25 Fact check #1 - this isn’t a prescription. It is an Electronic Prescription Service token. The details of the prescriber are transferred directly to the pharmacy. The absence of prescriber on this is not proof of ‘something clearly dodgy going on’
English

I have just checked the legislation with Grok. And indeed even for Paracetamol, a name of the prescriber must be present on the prescription.
Something clearly dodgy is going on, this prescription is not legal. Indeed the pharmacy that issued it, should have questioned this.
Don’t throw this away. This is good evidence of illegal practices at Wethersfield.
Groks response:
“The Human Medicines Regulations 2012, which govern prescription requirements in the UK, stipulate that a prescription for a prescription-only medicine (POM) must be signed in ink by an appropriate practitioner (such as a registered medical doctor or other qualified prescriber like a nurse or pharmacist for certain items).
The regulations also require the prescription to include the address of the prescriber and an indication of the type of prescriber (e.g.,doctor)
However, they do not explicitly mandate that the prescriber's full personal name appear on the prescription itself.
In practice, standard UK prescription forms (such as FP10 for NHS prescriptions) typically have the prescriber's name printed at the bottom to clearly identify the responsible individual, and professional bodies like the British National Formulary (BNF) and the General Medical Council (GMC) emphasize that prescriptions should be signed by the prescriber in their own name to ensure accountability and traceability.
Guidance from pharmacy organizations further reinforces that the signature must allow for the identification of the actual prescriber, who is ultimately responsible for the prescription.
Using a pseudonym, site name, or non-personal identifier alone (without linking to a real, registered practitioner) would likely not meet these expectations for validity and professional standards.
For non-POM items like paracetamol (which is generally available over-the-counter but can be prescribed), the same core rules apply if issued as a prescription. If "Dr Wethersfield SAS" is intended as a placeholder or service identifier rather than referring to a specific qualified doctor's signature, it could raise concerns about compliance, but this would depend on the exact details of the prescription and the prescriber's registration with bodies like the GMC.”

This prescription was picked up off the floor yesterday by a an amazing citizen after being dumped. Let that sink in.
This was issued by a private on-site medical (commisceo care) company operating at the Wethersfield migrant camp.
The individual was then put on a free bus service, funded by the taxpayer, to travel into town to collect a prescription for paracetamol.
Paracetamol.
An item you can buy over the counter for around 39p.
So let’s break that down.
Private medical provision on site.
Admin and prescribing costs.
A funded transport journey into town.
Pharmacy dispensing costs.
All for something that most people pay for themselves without a second thought.
This isn’t about healthcare. It’s about waste.
Now you do the maths, because every single part of that process is being paid for by the public while families here are struggling to heat their homes, pay prescriptions, or even get a GP appointment.
And to top it off, the prescription was discarded like rubbish.
This is exactly why people are angry.
Name and DOB cut off for protection.
Who can guess the name 👀👀@ThisIsEmmaPx

@supernovatwear Have a top time James. We’re going on the 20th. Should be amazing, by the looks of how Cardiff went. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy that it ever happened 😃
Like you, seen them umpteen times over the years. Never thought it would happen again though.
Stay safe 👊🏻

Lucky enough to be off down to Manchester tomorrow to see oasis on Friday night. It’ll be my 10th time seeing them. Have to say a weird feeling going this time though knowing it may be the last time ?
Anyone else thinking that ? Or are you thinking they are back for a while ? 🤔

@man_savings As a 46 year old who has been lucky enough to see them countless times (including Maine Rd at 17), I cannot wait for Sunday 20th at Heaton Park.
The bits I’ve seen looked immense. They both look on good form. One of those things I never thought I would experience again ❤️

Last night's Oasis gig in Cardiff was unreal. For years, the reunion was just talk—constant rumours ongoing since the band split. As a 48-year-old who caught them in their '90s and '00s prime, I was dead against it. I felt too much time had passed, and I didn’t want a watered-down version ruining those memories. Honestly, I also wasn’t keen on a bunch of kids crashing the party. Oasis was *our* '90s thing—how could the youth of today get that?
But when the reunion tour was confirmed, I couldn’t resist. I had get tickets to see if they still had it.
The energy and buzz all day in Cardiff all day was electric and it carried on into the stadium.
And they delivered. Liam’s voice was the strongest it’s been in a decade, and Noel and the band sounded massive.
Only downside? My side of stage view. Don’t get me wrong, it was still incredible, but I reckon front and center would’ve taken it to another level.
Best bit ?
Sharing it with my 20-year-old son ❤️
