@PsychicNecrosis @goyimfarmer @OurOwnNation So they were going to have a meeting at Davis over Iran and sent out a memo to basically all the top dogs. Vance leaked it to the press. It was a fake meeting just to test him. That’s just a rumor though.

@TAmTrib Great reason to go military if you're hurting for a job; active duty pay (while married with a spouse) is absolutely nuts and around half of it is tax-free. You also get close to free Healthcare for your entire family.

Paired with this is the fact that leftists aren't having kids Conservatives have a TFR of ~2, and the left has a TFR of <1. Further, ~80% of kids of conservative parents stay conservative, and we get ~10% of leftist kids White America will be very right wing after a few generations. The most radical leftists are having the fewest kids, and the most radical rightists are having the most kids What we are witnessing is a genetic threshing event, a bottleneck in which the anti-nature, anti-God left is slowly breeding itself out of existence as those who can stay sane in modernity mostly maintain their numbers So long as the mass migration problem is held off for a generation or so--at which point this bottleneck will have already changed the electorate substantially--many of our present problems will no longer be problems, and indeed the cascading benefits of having reshaped the electorate through fertility will make what problems related to race, immigration, and so on no longer problems...

Somewhere there is a poster who knows everything in advance and predicts the future with 100% accuracy. Like Borges' Library of Babel, he is the one poster from whose posts all of reality could be decoded. He has less than 50 followers and nothing he writes ever gets a like.

Much as the EU bet the farm so to speak on Ukraine, the "Dissident Right" sphere that Thiel and co purchased, bet the farm on Trump being a bridge to Vance and effectively a techno-Oligarch reich. That blew up in the Strait of Hormuz.
Pedro L. Gonzalez@emeriticus

Peter Thiel is cooking up a plan B for fleeing the United States and hunkering down in Argentina, which I hope is an indicator of how bad he think it’s going to get for the new right and how dramatically JD Vance has failed as a viable political vehicle for Thiel’s agenda

@WomanDefiner Tbh if you dont give reservists or SF or even regular grunts a chance to deploy and shoot at people, eventually they get super demoralized via imposter syndrome and feel embarrassed for never having a deployment/combat-deployment.

Something I never get is the US has troops in like a dozen active combat zones covertly fighting proxy wars such as Somalia and Nigeria but no one cares. We have boots on the ground fighting in a bunch of places and they aren't treated like wars because they aren't in the middle east.

What’s the best anime of all time? Currently watching Attack on Titan and really enjoying it. Trying to find another one but there’s just too many to choose from.

@MojaveArtClub @nibnub47 Yeah but wasn't there a whole ordeal of people absolutely loving Vance in contrast to Walz? Low bar to set I'm sure, but I feel like I remember him being considerably more charismatic and well-spoken than he's being given credit for.

@nibnub47 Vance was always an odd homunculus who could never exactly wow a crowd. His backstory has too many name changes, he comes off as artificial in the same off putting way a Pete Buttigieg does.

@Stoneybawloney @GreeneMan6 It means that the leftists of today are actually biological essentialists but believe that Europeans are slaves to the evil of their blood, and that the role of white men in the left is in the annihilation of the whole of the world.

@Stoneybawloney @GreeneMan6 It means that they operate on completely alien strategies to the Chinese with their long march. They do not believe in socialism and have advanced to a position of trying to "win" at capitalism via de facto legalized fraud conspiracies that allow them to be the owner class.

If there is one thing the last week taught me, it's that drama-content-creators need to be cut out, as much as possible, from the media diet of people who actually care about developing ideas and community. I admit to indulging in this content myself because it's cathartic to see them go after bad actors like Inuendo Studios, James Lindsay, or Vaush. However, the mode of attack is fundamentally degenerate. I realized this last week when I saw drama-streamer Chud-logic take the piss out of CounterPoints over his recent divorce. As is no secret, I very much dislike Conterpoints and have thought that his positions were shit from the get-go. But there's something fundamentally dishonorable about kicking a man while he's down for personal events in his life, even if he is broadcasting those events to the world. I don't want to defeat Counterpoints because he had a horrific divorce. I want to defeat Counterpoints by getting him to accept my BETTER ideas. But such is not the case for drama streamers; they would rather have people embarrass themselves because that is part of their business model. In the case of Chud logic making fun of Counterpoints, I could never forget the time in 2020 when we took an out-of-context clip someone made of me from a private Discord call to imply that I said the opposite of what I meant. No corrections, clarifications, or retractions were good enough because drama was the only objective these people cared about. Such is the way of drama-streamers; they don't care about ideas or beliefs, they just care about generating scandal. If asked, "What do you actually believe?" almost none of these guys could answer. They are pure "view from nowhere" people. They want dialogue not to advance an idea but to keep you talking until you make a mistake, then they superimpose the most uncharitable interpretation on that mistake imaginable, just so they have their scandal to talk about. Once more, it feels good to bring this process to bear against degenerate bad actors. But it's impossible not to notice that the process is as degenerate as the worst of their targets. It feeds into the very mechanisms that put entertainment above truth.

@martianwyrdlord I wouldn't be surprised if they were the genetic factor that generated the explosion of homosexuals in the West. The compulsion to make an OnlyFans is experienced as oppositional defiance because father's cannot comprehend that they sired something different than themselves.

@martianwyrdlord The children that these women produced were of essentially a different sub-species than the founding American stock, and feel an implicit adversarial relationship with children and "being trapped in marriage" because they're biological prostitutes.

Marriage is in the toilet because boomers systematically destroyed every positive reason to get married, while artificially pushing their daughters ahead of their sons, thereby rendering their sons unmarriageable in the eyes of hypergamous instinct. The boomercon solution to this? Stop discriminating against men? End no fault divorce? Change the rules to end divorce rape? Stop breaking women? Lol no ofc not it's to strip rights from bachelors. You WILL stare into the empty sanpaku SSREyes of the tatted up 32% bodyfat roastie and tell her "I settle for you until death do us part, happy wife happy life, I will always check with the boss, Amen." You WILL raise Tyrone's keeds. You WILL pay her $300,000 of student debt. You WILL allow yourself to be squeezed into the mancave. You WILL become the beast of burden by which she rides to her best life.
Ronald Dodson@RonDodson

Throughout Christian civilizational history, as a matter of ordinary civic order, inheritance, household economy, officeholding, tax logic, social respectability, and political representation, the married household was usually treated as the normal civil unit. The basic pattern was this: Christendom did not usually imagine society as an aggregation of autonomous individuals. It imagined society as a hierarchy of households, estates, guilds, parishes, villages, towns, monasteries, and corporations. The stable household, headed by a married man, was therefore not merely private. It was a miniature polity. Marriage made a man more legible to the community because it marked him as a householder: economically invested, reproductively ordered, socially accountable, and capable of bearing civic responsibility. That meant the unmarried adult, especially the unmarried man who was not a cleric, monk, soldier, apprentice, servant, or dependent kin, could appear socially incomplete. He might not be legally enslaved or formally disenfranchised everywhere, but he often lacked the full standing that came from being a paterfamilias, burgess, property holder, guild master, parish officer, or head of household. In that sense, yes: bachelorhood was frequently treated as a lesser civic condition.
