In contrast to how put together I look, I managed to forget the traveling shirt I'd changed out of into these fancy clothes, in the studio. Sigh. And it was one of my @hardpressedsk lily shirts! :(

@CUPEsask had me down to Regina to talk about #TransRights for some educational videos of theirs, and hair and make-up made me look so put together!

@foxyfolklorist When I was doing pregnant lady yoga, we were told to picture our vaginas opening and closing like a flower, and I suggested instead a monstrous man eating vagina, and for some reason it didn't catch on. I'm glad you're making sure more people know about man eating vaginas.

I'm preparing a short talk on monsters in folklore for a literary event coming up! Definitely gonna talk about the night hag and vagina dentata...how to narrow down the rest? I'm trying to make incisive social commentary while I'm at it. #FolkloreThursday

@mbiletski @HedgeMD Oh I DEFINITELY don't know that! But I do know their activity schedule and when school starts and ends and mostly get them to everything and mostly wearing clothing.

@mbiletski I think it is what makes it funnier. I PRETEND I'm entirely useless, but mostly when it comes to cleaning and activities (which includes school). I AM managing to keep everyone alive 90% of the time on my own for the past year. With @HedgeMD as my phone a friend backup.

@mbiletski Is it funny when a lesbian does? Because for the start of the school year I had a concept of a plan for what the kids needed. Thankfully my wife came home and got us all organized for it.

@theblastedheath @Swilua Northern Canada is a mess of the social determinants of health that just breed TB. It's terrible. Also the social determinants that lead to suicide and substance use, but I've got training in handling those!

@PsychonErrantry @Swilua In Saskatoon? I didn't know it was still such a big problem, though I had a vague awareness that it's particularly prevalent in Indigenous/First Nations populations

@Swilua I feel like having 3 kids helped develop endurance for these kind of rambles.

Oh man, I just realized what's familiar with Trump. He reminds me of when my kids were little and telling me a story about something that happened at school! Only much angrier and more racist.
