@hogman there has been a controller bug for months were pressing the Y button on an xbox controller causes me to pick up bodies even though my "pickaxe or pick up" bind is right stick. This happens on console and pc.

@RodeyBros The way fortnite is, you need 10+ games to be as fair as possible considering the rng factors. The more games the less rng is going to determine your tournaments and instead its makes adapting to the different scenerios more of a skill, not luck.

Really wish Fortnite moved all tournaments to 2 hours outside of Finals. Would be easier for more people to find time to play and imo 2 hours would be better with the shorter games now

I don't know why Fortnite would admit this is a "mistake" on their part. They were not obligated to say that and it is just horrible PR. If they just removed the DQ from the record and called it what it is (cheating) then this awful look wouldnt have happened.

We aren’t going to reset FNCS Major 1. It's too far along with the current participants. Reload Elite Series starts next Friday with finals May 17.

We've realized there is legit confusion on whether Fortnite competitive rules allow for use of drop calculators, which have evolved from being static web sites to real-time tools connected to the game you’re in. This confusion stems from the current phrasing of our prohibition: "Using any kind of cheating device, program, or similar cheating method to gain a competitive advantage” from our official FNCS rules. We'll be updating this to reinforce that these devices, programs, and methods are prohibited if they have any access to the real-time state of the game being played (e.g. through memory, screen recording, screenshots, audio, network traffic, files, overlays). This will include overlays that feed real-time screen information from the Fortnite client to competitive advantage analysis tools. Whereas things like informational web pages that don't access the current game state are ok. Given the confusion on this, disqualification of these players was a mistake and the DQs will be removed from their record. The bad news: due to the tournament timing, the lobbies are now full for this event and it's too late for them to continue in the current tournament. This has been happening to me for weeks but now ive been told that others are experiencing the same issue. PLS FIX. I die all the time because I edit and I don't have my shotgun out.
