@ImErisu Warframe and Extraction shooters definitely have a lot in common. They're fun as well if you love amassing wealth and status through rarities.

Destiny ending without us ever confronting Xivu Arath, binding the Nine, taking back the Cabal Home world, stopping Savathun once and for all, breaking the curse of the Dreaming city, visiting old Chicago, leaving Sol, facing The Winnower.... Just empty

There will never be another game like Destiny 2. Ever. I love Warframe, more than Destiny 2, but it is nowhere CLOSE AT ALL to what Destiny 2 is. Eyes up, Guardians. On the horizon lies the future, with or without each other one day. #Destiny2 #Vtuber

So let me get this straight: -We never solved the curse of the Dreaming City -We never bound the Nine -We never saw Old Chicago -We never found Xivu f***ing Arath That’s it. It just…ends. Cliffhangers and plot holes. My time in Destiny has been nothing short of life-changing, but nah, I can’t sit well with that. I truly hope that when the June 9th update hits, the @DestinyTheGame @Bungie dev team sits down, either goes live or Vlogs/ViDocs, & gives us an honest retrospective of where we’re at, what they ‘want’ to happen, what they’re pursuing, and where we’re going so far - even if it’s half a decade away. If we’re hitting closure, give us closure.

Read the full blog at bung.ie/d2_may_21_2026 For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us. From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

Because people are smart and don't think they're gonna blow up 1k plus people in a single stream outside of a raid? Was it that hard to understand? If you average 500-750 viewers, you set a cap at 1k. Even if you're view botted, the system isn't gonna AUTO FLAG/BAN YOU for that. If you get raided, hopefully you get a pop up alerting you of that, and it auto turns your cap off or allows you to set it higher for the raid from the pop up. Just set a cap for double of your view count, cause when people viewbot to try and troll a streamer into getting in trouble, they're viewbotting THOUSANDS of people into the stream at once.

@zachbussey If it's an option that gets added to shield mode or if you don't get raided, that's fair. But I don't feel it is something that will get used often. Why would people self-inhibit themselves?

Twitch will launch the ability for creators to self-enforce a view cap if they feel they are being viewbotted. This would presumably allow the creator to avoid punishment issued by Twitch's detection by proactively self-capping.

do writers just really suck at making endings for their tv shows and stories or are viewer expectations impossibly high? i can’t remember the last time the internet was happy with how something ended

Just watched the series finale of The Boys. I mean...ah. I can't lie, I have seen USA channel tv shows from the past that had better endings than this. It wasn't bad, it was....ok. It's like, a gourmet chef who cooks the best stuff all the time, and then maybe towards the finale dish, he screws up some spices and the dishes don't come out that well, ok, but then....the FINAL DISH OF THE NIGHT (SERIES FINALE). And it's a sloppy joe. I like sloppy joes. They're good, but this chef REALLY built up my expectations more often than not for his skill. IIRC, Hughie still has one vial of Temp V left, but ok. The ending felt like the people in charge of it all just went "Ok, we're tired, we gotta move onto the next project, let's wrap this up and call it a night folks" No special twists, no uniqueness to the fight at all. All of it kind of quite predictable. Ryan coming in at the last second, the rest of the Seven being off'd, Kimiko's deus ex machina finish, Butcher dying at the end. It wasn't a great ending. It wasn't even that good, it was just ok. Safe. Clean. We expected a lot more tho, so that sucks.
