The "leave no man behind" doctrine is actually a strategic weakness disguised as a virtue. Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen. That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons. A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.

@AydinPaladin I can't really believe this anymore, not really. I have seen betrayal after betrayal, abandonment after abandonment, & disownment of the family over political lines while justifying a desire to kill those on the right. There is only a single person of liberal leanings I trust.

I hope that now, as everything is made bare and naked to even the casual observer, that can collectively comprehend the right/left divide is an artificial narrative of subversion and chaos. We MUST unite against the enemy of civilisation, beauty, and truth. I apologise for my own contributions to this narrative. Americans right and left must come together. We MUST.

@IronlilyS That is not what is to be cherished. What is to be cherished is having the steepest of disagreements & still keeping loyalty & bond. Everyone, you included, has things that you will be zealously hold, be possessed by. The question is can you keep the relationship even with that?

People who are deeply rooted in ideology... whether it's religion, politics, race, gender, or anything else... are unfortunately, almost impossible to pull out of it. They cannot bring themselves to question the beliefs they have supported for years. Questioning it would mean denying years of belief, effort, or relationships. If you ever meet someone who can step back and think openly—cherish them.

He was more tyrannical than the average king & implemented very unpopular policies but had a massive cult of personality. FDR is probably the closest the USA ever got to a dictator & hid any such weaknesses. Terrible example.

@whatifalthist There's a stark contrast between the idea of a monarchy, which that is, and the idea of a modern republic. Our great grandfathers voted for a guy in a wheelchair, not for a warrior king.

One of my favorite things lately is that if you read medieval political science they will have lengthy segments about how the king requires a “lordly bearing” and “noble countenance.” Which is the medieval way of saying “does he give off chad vibes.” If a king lack these will he will not have the manly vigor to hold the nation together. The idea in medieval society was that the king should be so innately manly that it’s just widely understood he can protect the nation from attackers.

@SarahAnnRhoades @chriswithans I largely agree. But it is worth noting there is an element within the right that is effectively demanding to derail & destroy any attempt at garnering power, operating within the bounds of what power is available, or doing anything good with said power.

@Pubcle @chriswithans I'd contend the expectations with regards to the Epstein Files were because of the promises Bondi made at the beginning. When she says twice that the files are sitting right there on her desk waiting for release, you can't blame people for expecting something of consequence.

Pam Bondi has the hardest job by far because she has to deal with left-wing judges and can’t get her people confirmed because Republicans in the Senate refuse to repeal blue slips for DoJ appointments. And then Massie decided to lead a Justice for Dunces and Grifters movement that caused unnecessary distractions to the overall mission.

As a direct result of Reform labelling Restore Britain as ‘neo-nazi’ on national television, this vile death threat was posted online. A picture of me getting shot in the neck, just as Charlie Kirk was. I am furious. Labelling millions of Brits as nazis has consequences. This dangerous and foul rhetoric is putting my team and I at risk. I am getting the police involved about this threat to my life. Reform, and many others, need to stop. Now. Debate us on our ideas, our policies, our plan for Britain. Do not label us as ‘neo-nazis’ or ‘racists’, because they are going to give some nutter an idea - quite obviously, that has already happened. A journalist, Charlie Simpson, with close ties to Reform, reported that these Cunningham nazi lies about Restore are ‘straight talking points from HQ itself’.
