@MWSibert Depends on what you're preserving and other factors. If watching sodium, best to go with whole foods that don't need salt.

@PuckettSusan Just read your article on salt & sodium in food. I agree there's too much in food we buy, and because we got used to those amounts in food out of home, we brought it in our homes. My question is how much sodium is enough to preserve food for the minimum/max time of preservation?
