The obsession with wanting clubs to buy a bunch of players each transfer window as a signal of their seriousness and ambition is driving a lot of people here out of their minds

@alexaintonfire Yeah, from the little we saw of him he looked decent. Difficult to say for sure but I think he’s a good player. Our fans are up in arms about him leaving when he clearly didn’t want to stay and wasn’t being played. I’m not 100% sure he knocks trippier out of the first XI 😂

Are West Ham as a club, too sentimental towards certain players? Can’t help but feel there are a number of players in the squad that we should have cashed in on in the past or just let their contracts expire.
