you want to believe so bad. i know because im the same way.
you find one. your gut says this is it. everything checks out. so you dont just put money in, you invest TIME. you bagwork, you change the pfp, you defend it in the replies. time goes by. how long? depends, could be a week, a month, even a year.
then it zeros anyway. nothing crazy even happened. people took their profits and moved on. thats literally it.
ive lived this more times than im gonna admit, from both sides. i was the believer watching it die, and i was the dev watching people believe in MY thing while the chart bled under all of us. i know exactly what that costs. not the money. the part of you that hesitates before believing again.
and you do it again anyway. new coin, new pfp, same ending. the belief was never the problem though. you just keep pointing it at stuff that needs everyone else to believe too.
thats what https is for me. nobody has to trust a team or a promise. we're meming the mentality itself. crypto is self serving at its core, so is this market, so is most of everything. its an https market. we just made that the meme instead of the thing that kills you.
my belief finally lives somewhere that cant get abandoned. people will always take profits. for once thats the thesis working, but with a little substance and story.
