Even if you're pro-AI for whatever reason(s), you need to understand that it's always going to be very unpopular with the general public (since it undeniably net harms them), and it will be Public Enemy #1 by the time the 2028 election rolls around
I'm no GOP shill, as you know if you read my posts on here. But I don't want the Democratic Party to regain control of the federal government in 2028. That would be very bad. The GOP needs to conspicuously distance itself from AI and data centers. Their current trajectory on this issue plays *right into* the existing trope of the GOP being shamelessly aligned with Big Business against the interests of regular Americans
Unless the GOP changes course on this issue ASAP, they are going to be gifting the Democratic Party the 2028 election on a silver platter, and we're all going to suffer greatly

An interesting note- No person from either the Republicans OR Democrats have reached out to me in anyway since the primary. Our campaign managed nearly 20% of the vote against the entirety of the political machine in a Gubernatorial election with an incredibly low amount of funding. I find this to be bewilderingly odd.
