While conducting school zone patrol in Camlachie, a #LambtonOPP officer encountered a very determined local resident, a wild turkey, who appeared to have something to say. The officer remained in the area to ensure students arriving at school stayed safe around the presence of the turkey and that it wasn’t the kids being chased. As the officer eventually cleared the area, the turkey was observed chasing the cruiser down the road, possibly in an attempt to continue the conversation…or request to speak with a supervisor. Thankfully, all students made it safely to school, and the turkey has since resumed its neighbourhood patrol duties. #SchoolZoneSafety ^jr
