@SimonCalder All well and good but, unless there is a separate queue for UK passport holders, or we are allowed to use the EU Passports queue, there is little advantage as we will still be stuck in the queue with all other third-country nationals unless they too are exempt.

Remains of the USAF M/HC-130 Hercules transport aircraft destroyed by US forces before departing their forward base in Iran, used successfully to recover the downed F-15 aircrew. The aircraft had reportedly become stuck in the soft ground and were blown up to avoid capture.

@alexbward International law does not take precedence over the United States Constitution. US has not ratified Geneva Convention on "no quarter." Not binding on the USA.

On October 26, 2025, a Russian Il-76 with aircraft tail number TA-78765 and linked to the Russian mercenary group Wagner landed in Caracas, Venezuela. The plane is operated by Aviacon Zitotrans, which is on the US' and other countries' sanction list. Russia is regularly sending its planes to the few allied regime, supporting them with weapons and human material. Back in 2018 Russian Wagner mercenaries supporting the Assad regime tried to storm US' positions in Syria. Within 12 minutes an entire Russian battalion was wiped out by US forces, leaving around 200 Russians destroyed. It is obvious that Putin doesn't want the Maduro regime to fall apart, trying to put Russia in US' way

russia just announced its new aircraft the IL114... ow wait its from the 1980s and only made 20, and many of them are scrap or crashed...
