Star Wars Mando real 1st FRI numbers at $21M when you separate the $12M THURS previews. Rated R micro budget Horror flick Obsession 2nd (yes, SECOND) FRI is at $6M … These two films should not be THAT close. We should see something like 7-10x between these two. It shows how strong Obsession is running and how weak Mando is.
When Backrooms drops next weekend, the floor will probably fall out under Mando’s feet, because Obsession is just kinda getting going. It’s going to make MORE in the 2nd weekend than it did in the 1st. And It’s doing this against the first Star Wars movie in 7 years. Let that sink in.
