When I do get one of the thicker options, I'm not looking forward to moving it. The Purples are hella heavy. @Purple do y'all have a bed recycling program for older purple mattresses? What's my course of action, if I so need to get a new purple, in what do I need to do with my old one?

We have two of these mattresses in the house, right now, in the nectar, and the purple. I started using the nectar, first, and after about a year into use, I began having the same issue I've had with every mattress, my shoulders would go numb, as a side sleeper. I switched over to the base offering from purple. Eventually, the same thing happened. It's been an obstacle since my time in the Army when I was much younger. I'm also very hot, all the time. I sleep with just a bed sheet, because anything more than that, and I'm annoyed the entire night. I have never met a meets mattress that keeps me cold, no matter how much marketing is thrown behind the product. Same goes for sheet sets. I radiate heat, I've lived with it, and will continue to do so. A CPAP changed my life, because I have to sleep in my back. But, I cannot sleep flat, so another amazing piece of equipment in the adjustable base, has elevated my experience even more. Those two things have given me my sanity back, just on their own. So, back to the mattresses. I continue to sleep on the purple for one major reason. It's a heavier mattress than the nectar. Because of that, it remains contoured to the adjustable base better than the nectar. When I get out of bed, the nectar would pop up, back into a straight shape, lifting of the base, because I sleep in a semi cradle position. It was a daily pain in the ass, after a while. The purple just stays put. I never have to worry about lifting off of the base, ever. Because the mattress is bent in multiple places due to my sleep position, my body heat is trapped, so I continue to battle being hot when a sleep. At this point, my Wife uses the nectar. Mine is in the guestroom. I use the purple. We have individual bases, but Wife's sleep position isn't a dramatic as mine. We sleep on Twin XLs, because, size wise, it is still the same footprint as a King bed. I'm 6ft, 260lbs. She's 5'4", 145lbs. She's OK on her nectar, I'm OK on my purple. At this point, the nectars are about 7 years old, and the purple is 6 years old. The nectar in the guestroom, while being 7 years old, it only has about two years of constant sleep. It has spent the last 6 years as a guest bed. So, if need be, we can switch out my Wife's bed, for the guest nectar, and she's good to go nearly another decade. For the purple, I'll continue to use the brand, possible moving to one off their upgraded offerings. I like them, so I'll keep on using them.

@Purple I have a purple 3 and the sides have completely ribbed apart where the foam the the rubber meet. The mattress also does not feel comfortable. My purple 2 has been the best purchase I have ever made. My purple 3 King has been the worst mattress I have ever owned. Can it be repair
