I’ve been using RetroArch for almost ten years now on many devices (and consoles). I understand getting used to it, but complex & impossible?
I’m standing on ten toes when I say this but this discourse & the Github discourse proves to me there’s an IQ gap I’m not sorry.

@SpartanXC9 i dont use retroarch but I have a snes mini I boot up once every few years with it on there and sometimes I accidentally do a shortcut that opens it and it pisses me off

@PurpleColonelSP Get single, standalone emulators. Retroarch js a mess and most likely why people think emulating is hard. What console are you trying to emulate?

@glimmerfr It sucks that a lot of fandom wikis that have moved indie still have to, per ToS, simul-update the Fandom side (or something like that, Idr).
Xeno Wiki is different at least cause they're both separate to begin with, but when there's a choice, I go Wiki every time

@PurpleColonelSP @RoseMarieAnon The RetroAVS Nintendo clone has a sold a ton, and has been sold out multiple times. The Analogue Mini NT also sold out quite quickly. Not to mention, RGB and HDMI mods for original NES consoles have sold insanely well.
People would buy a reproduction NES.

These mini consoles would've been more exciting if they were rereleases of the original hardware and not emulators. I could never understand the excitement for them seeing as how NES/SNES emulators are some of the most widely available and accessible.
